Diagnosis. The species resembles those in Quadricalcarifera to some extent
but may be recognised by the broadly rufous medial area of the forewing that is
bounded distally by a roughly semicircular postmedial.
Geographical range. N. E. Himalaya; Taiwan; Sundaland; Buru, New Guinea.
Habitat preference. Only three Bornean specimens have been seen, one from
1200 m on G. Kinabalu and two from 1618 m on Bukit Retak. The species may
therefore be montane.
