14,15mm. The facies and genitalia are much as in calcariphallus,
but the longer spur on the aedeagus is more robust, straight, adpressed, and
the smaller much more robust, hooked.
Holotype . BORNEO:
Sabah, Danum Valley, 5º 01N, 117º 47E, 18.x.1987, 100m, (A.H. Kirk-Spriggs)
primary forest edge, BM lymantriid slide 2111.
Paratype . As holotype but 20.x.1987,
BM lymantriid slide 2110.
Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. Both specimens were taken at the edge of lowland
dipterocarp forest in the Danum Valley Field Centre clearing.
