Diagnosis. This is the first of a sequence of rather diaphanous, creamy white
species with strong black discal spots on the forewing and somewhat similar
genitalia with a relatively short, robust harpe. In prasioneura the
discal spot is moderate only. The frons has a broad brown bar between the
antennae but the palps are white. The legs have small black spots at the base of
the tibia and at one third. In the genitalia, the uncus is rather rounded,
tongue-like. The harpe is broad, apically blunt, the apex with greater curvature
on its dorsal side.
Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. Most specimens have been taken in lowland forest,
including heath forest, but singletons have been recorded at 1000m on G. Mulu
and at 1670m on Bukit Pagon.
