Diagnosis. The facies is as in the generic description. There is sexual dimorphism,
males having brown surrounds to a moderate central window on each wing, with a
satellite hyaline patch between it and the apex, and females having grey
surrounds to more extensive hyaline areas that include the satellite patches.
Geographical range. S.E. Asia, Sundaland, Philippines.
Habitat preference. The species is frequent in lowland forest, with one
record from as high as 1000m.
Biology. The larva has been reared from Durio (Bombacaceae) in Peninsular
Malaysia (unpublished IIE records).
