Diagnosis. See brooksi above. The male forewings are variable in their
variegation. Some uniformly dark brown specimens have been taken as well as
those strongly variegated with paler bronzy brown.
Geographical range. Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo.
Habitat preference. This is another common species of lowland forest but
has not been recorded above 500m.
