Arna sp. 2565
A male from primary forest understorey at 170m near the Danum Valley
Field Centre in Sabah has facies as illustrated, with additional subapical black
spots and general unbanded shading of the basal two-thirds of the forewing. The
specimen illustrated by Schintlmeister (1994: plate 5: 47) as of bipunctapex
may be the female. The male genitalia resemble those of bipunctapex, but
with the produced apex of the valve slightly shorter. The distal margin of the
eighth tergite is squarer, less notched.
