Toxoproctis
cincta Swinhoe
comb. n.
Euproctis cincta Swinhoe, 1906, Ann. Mag. nat. Hist.
(7), 17: 541.
Diagnosis. This species has a similar colour combination to darker forms of munda,
but the grey extends closer to the margin on both wings, with a more
regularly crenulate boundary between it and the yellow. The male genitalia are
as in munda, as are those of a probable female, though the signum is more
basal in the vesica.
Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. All material is from lowland forest, most seen being
from the vicinity of the Danum Valley Field Centre in Sabah.
