Diagnosis. See Asota heliconia

Geographical range. Borneo, Philippines, Sulawesi, Moluccas.
Habitat preference. The species has only been recorded from G. Kinabalu
in Borneo, one being taken at 1900m but not recorded by Holloway (1976).
