Amata elisoides sp. n.
Amata elisoides (paratype) |
|
19-20mm, slightly larger than wallacei but with similar
facies.
In the male genitalia the spining of the aedeagus vesica is more even than in wallacei,
where the lateral lobe bears conspicuously elongate spines. The valves are
long, not markedly asymmetric, with strong setae apically; the basal costal
processes of the valve are somewhat as in wallacei with the left one much
longer, straight, but the right one is apically irregularly bulbous.
