Diagnosis.
The wing
shape is characteristic, though the general appearance is somewhat similar to
that of the much smaller Utriculofera
fuscapex , where males have distinctive structures at the base of
the antenna. The ground colour of the forewing varies from paleish grey to
brown, but the hindwings are usually darker.
Geographical
range. S.
Burma, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo.
Habitat
preference. The
species is frequently encountered in lowland forest, including heath forest and
disturbed areas.
