9mm. The
forewing ground colour is almost white and the fasciae almost black, their edges
always sharply defined. The postmedial is broader at the costa and dorsum but
also curved, convex basad, concave distad. The submarginal is reduced to an
almost semicircular patch based on the tornal half of the distal margin. The
facies is similar to that of arcuata Hampson (Philippines) but this has
male genitalic valves that taper and lack the features described below. The
genitalia resemble those of trifascia and trifasciata but have the
apex of the uncus sinuous, a more tapering, serrate valve apex and a diagnostic
brush of setae at the centre of the valve costa.

Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. The
species is rare but has been taken in several different lowland forest types
(heath, alluvial, hill dipterocarp on and off limestone).
