Diagnosis.
The smallest
of the Bornean species with transverse fasciae has these fasciae crimson-red.
The discal spots are also red: a dot and two wedges arranged in a triangle in
the male, and a dot and a streak set longitudinally in the female. The inner
border of the red margin is dentate.
Geographical
range. Borneo,
Peninsular Malaysia, Philippines.
Habitat
preference. The
species is infrequent in lowland dipterocarp forest but not recorded from heath
forest.
