Diagnosis and taxonomic
note. This taxon is very similar to perornata
and may only be a form thereof. The unique female is slightly smaller than
those of perornata, the fasciae narrower and not edged with black. The
genitalia appear identical to those of Bornean perornata with the
characteristic appendix bursae and long, sclerotised ductus (slightly shorter
than in Himalayan perornata) with an oblique distal margin.
Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. The
species is only known from the holotype from Paitan on the coast of Sabah.
