Diagnosis. The forewings are very strongly falcate and dark brown with white
lunules at the apex, and diagnostically suffused rufous orange over the basal
three quarters.
Geographical range. Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo.
Habitat preference. This is the rarest of the Bornean species, with four
specimens from lowland forest at Ulu Temburong (300m), two from 1465m and 1618m
on Bukit Retak in Brunei, and one from 1050m at Kundasang on the south slopes of
G. Kinabalu.
