Diagnosis. See the generic description and illustration: the facies is
unmistakable.
Geographical range. Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat preference. One specimen was taken at 1000m on G. Mulu, but the
species was frequent at 1780-90m and at 1465-1618m on Bukit Retak. On G.
Kinabalu it is commonest in this altitude range, but occurs from 1200m to 2110m.
