Diagnosis. The species is somewhat similar to Albara hollowayi but a much
paler grey with white fasciae: the tip of the forewing is also diagnostically
white.
Geographical range. N.E. Himalaya, S. China, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra
(ZSM), Borneo.
Habitat preference. This is a rare montane species, known only from
three specimens: 1200m and 1930m on G. Kinabalu; 1790m on G. Mulu.
