Diagnosis. There is general resemblance to Albara species but the broad
whitish band of the hindwing is diagnostic. The forewing in the female is
slightly bifalcate, browner centrally, and the hindwing band is browner, less
conspicuous.
Taxonomic notes. The genitalia of the single Bornean male match those of Khasis material
illustrated by Watson (1968), hence his association of these with type material
(females) from Burma is likely to be correct.
Geographical range. S. Burma, Borneo, Sumatra (ZSM), N.E. Himalaya.
Habitat preference. The only specimen was from 1618m on Bukit Retak,
Brunei.
