Macrauzata submontana (paratype)

Both Bornean members of the genus have its characteristic facies, but in melanapex Inoue the anterior border to the forewing medial hyaline zone is narrower and more angular, and the forewing apex and two central teeth of the hindwing margin are tipped black. Identity should be confirmed by dissection in worn specimens.

Geographical range. Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Java.

Mulu, two specimens at the same altitude at Kundasang on the southern side of G. Kinabalu, and one at 1465m on Bukit Retak in Brunei.
