Phazaca sp.
A male from Park H.Q. (1620m) on G. Kinabalu appears to represent a
further species of this difficult conifera / leucocera group. The
forewing postmedial is closer to the apex and more evenly curved than in
other species. The genitalia (slide 187) are somewhat as in coniferoides
but without the strongly distal concentration of setae on the valve,
and with the aedeagus basally bulbous, tapering to the apex, rather than
being of even width.
