Diagnosis. The brown forewings with strongly looped fasciae, and the pale yellow
anterior half of the hindwings crossed by two fine brown fasciae distinguish
this species.
Geographical range. N.E. Himalaya, Taiwan, Borneo.
Habitat preference. Only two Bornean specimens have been seen: a female
from 1930m on G. Kinabalu; a male from 1618m on Bukit Retak in Brunei.
Biology. The species has been reared in Taiwan (Chen, 1997) from Mussaenda (Rubiaceae).
