This is a smaller and paler species than oyamana, with less clearly
defined medial fasciation, narrower at the forewing dorsum and with the forewing
postmedial straighter anteriorly, meeting the costa more or less at right
angles. In the male genitalia the uncus is broader, with a more clearly defined
apical spine. The valves are slightly narrower, less strongly curved ventrally.

Geographical
range. Borneo,
Seram (slide 475).
Habitat preference. Both specimens are from the upper montane forest
zone.
