Taxonomic
notes. The
processes from the valve costa are more elongate in the Bornean subspecies
though of the same general form as in the typical race. The cornutus in the
vesica is very short, spinose, rather than digitate.
Geographical
range. N.E.
Himalaya; Borneo, Sumatra.
Habitat
preference. The
species is somewhat more common than D. plana and flies over a similar
altitude range in upper montane forest, though one specimen was taken at 2600m
on G. Kinabalu.
