Diagnosis. The species resembles S. megaspilaria but
is slightly smaller, with the marginal areas brown rather than dark grey, that
at the forewing dorsum divided by a pale central zone.
Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. Most records are from lowland forest but
singletons were taken at 900m and 1200m on the limestone G. Api during the Mulu
survey.
