18-19mm. The green is relatively dark but the fasciation
is typical. Diagnostic features of the male abdomen are: robust processes on the
eighth segment with stronger curvature basally and a long spine and two or three
smaller subsidiary ones anteriorly; long, slender, upcurved valve costal
processes that extend
beyond the apex of the valve; only a weak step in the valve ventral margin; a
juxta terminating dorsally in two slender, closely adpressed rods. The last
feature is seen also in the Javan specimen (slide 4098) attributed to veraria
and one from Sumatra (slide 4144): these have the costal and eighth segment
processes different.

There are two further
specimens with data as the holotype but they have not been dissected.
Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. All material is from G. Kinabalu, only one specimen with altitude
specified at 5500feet (about 1600m).
