typical of the group. Characters of the male abdomen are diagnostic as follows:
the eighth segment processes are relatively short, straight, terminating in
three unequal spines; the valve is similar to that of rana.

Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. No details are given on the holotype labels: The paratype is from a
