Diagnosis. The species resembles Oenospila
flavifusata Walker
closely in apple green colour, dark red discal spots and margins, and white
forewing costa. The postmedials, however, are white rather than dark red.
Geographical range. N.E. Himalaya, Sumatra, Borneo, Java, Bali, Philippines, Sulawesi,
Lesser Sundas.
Habitat preference. The majority of specimens has been taken in a wide variety of
lowland forest types. Single specimens have been taken at 1620m on G. Kinabalu
and at 1618m on Bukit Retak, Brunei.
