13-14mm. This species also resembles waterstradti in
its weakly variegated facies, but is much smaller with the hindwing tail less
produced and the wing margins more diffusely reddened. In the genitalia, the
saccus is narrow. The ventral margin of the valve is indented basal to the lobe.
There is a diagnostic comb-like structure on the sacculus.
Holotype SARAWAK: Gunung Mulu Nat. Park, R.G.S Exped. 1977-8 (J.D.
Holloway et al.) Site 15, February, Camp 2.5, Mulu, 1000m, 413461,
lower montane forest, BM geometrid slide 10740.
Paratypes. 2 as holotype (slide
10747); 2 as
holotype but Site 14.
Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. All material is from lower montane forest
at 1000m on G. Mulu.
