Diagnosis. The wings are bluish
green, rather translucent, with fasciae and discal marks as in some Hemithea and
Maxates species. The white and darker green of the fasciae are more
punctate, and the fringes are green.
Taxonomic note. The
dark green of the fasciae and discal marks is less punctate than in Himalayan
material.
Geographical range. N.E.
Himalaya, Borneo.
Habitat preference. The
species is infrequent in lower montane forest, taken at 900m on G. Api and 1000m
on G. Mulu. It has also been taken singly at 1780m and 150m on G. Mulu and at
1670m on Bukit Pagon in Brunei.
