Species B
A single male specimen
from Ulu Dusun in the lowlands of Sabah (slide 17437) resembles a rather small Jodis
subtractata but with the wings more evenly suffused with emerald green. The
antennae are of the untidy, adpressed bipectinate type. However, the male
genitalia have valves of the most unusual structure, elongate, broadly falcate
at the apex ventrally. The socii are weak, the vinculum extended with coremata.
The distal parts of the eighth tergite and sternite are rugose, the former with
the margin unevenly convex, the latter deeply excavate.
