Diagnosis. The general appearance is much as in sumatraria, but the pale
discal patch of the forewing is diagnostic, and the hindwing medial fascia is
straighter.
Geographical range. Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat preference. All three specimens taken in recent surveys were from
lowland hill dipterocarp forest in the Temburong district of Brunei.
Habitat preference. The species is uncommon in forested localities from
the lowlands to 1930m.
