Hyriodes
leucocraspis Hampson, 1910, Cat.

Diagnosis. The wings are very dark, slightly
brownish grey, the rather triangular hindwing with a distinctive speckled
whitish area cut off at the apex. The distal margin of the forewing is oblique,
particularly beyond an obtuse angle at the centre of the margin, and there is
an irregular, pale submarginal and a sharper, more evenly curved postmedial
running more or less parallel to this margin.
Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. The only specimen is the holotype from
Sandakan on the coast of Sabah.
