Diagnosis. The forewings have a distinctive pattern
of a medial, almost triangular trapezoid in dull, dark brown, narrowing to the
costa. This is edged whitish, the white grading again into brown on either
side, and incorporating a bipunctate blackish discal mark on the distal side
within a dentation of the white edge.
Geographical range. Oriental tropics.
Habitat preference. There is a series of old specimens from
G. Kinabalu without altitude data collected by Waterstradt. Chey (1994)
recorded several in softwood plantations near Brumas in
the lowlands of Sabah.
