Diagnosis.
The facies is similar to that of transversalis, but the forewing white fascia has a white spot adjacent to the costal, distal side of its anterior dentation. The male genitalia have the valves relatively long and narrow, and slightly tapering, entire apically.

Geographical range. Borneo.

Habitat preference. The holotype is from Pulo Laut. Three further specimens have been taken in recent surveys, two from wet heath forest at 150m west of the Melinau Gorge as for transversalis and one from 1618m on Bukit Retak in Brunei.
