Diagnosis. The wings are dark reddish grey, the yellow marginal marks of the
forewing mostly close to the apex. The hindwing tornus is produced to an angle,
but the distal margin is only slightly concave, if at all. The female is
distinguished in the account of the previous species.
Geographical range. Palawan, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo, Bali.
Habitat preference.
During the Mulu survey, all five specimens were
taken in alluvial forest at 50-100m. The species has also been taken in lowland
dipterocarp forest in the Ulu Temburong of Brunei and at the Danum Valley Field
Centre in Sabah.
