14mm. The wings are unmarked satiny white. The frons
and palps are a dark, rich brown. The legs are strongly spotted dark brown as in
the prasioneura group. The male genitalia are distinctive, with a narrow,
subapically constricted, bilobed uncus, a slightly falcate dorsal distal angle
to the valve, and a harpe that bears two massive setae, one apical and one just
distal of central.
Holotype . SARAWAK: Gunung Mulu Nat.
Park, R.G.S. Exped. 1977-8 (J.D. Holloway et al.) Site 27, April,
1500m, G. Api, Pandanus Camp, 422541, scrub and Pandanus, BM
lymantriid slide 1590.
Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. The only specimen is from open upper montane scrub on
limestone.
