Diagnosis. The species resembles a very large elisa or elisoides. In
the male genitalia the aedeagus vesica has several rows of cornuti, often
robust. The valves are elongate, asymmetric, apically swollen, darkened and
pilose; the basal costal processes are long, subequal and strongly curved; the
processes from the tegumen are large, apically bulbous.
Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. The species has only been taken in the Kinabalu area
(by John Waterstradt) but altitude is not indicated.
