Derambila
gertraudae Sommerer
Derambila gertraudae Sommerer,
1995: 26.
Diagnosis. This species is somewhat similar to the propages group but
slightly larger, with deeper forewings and somewhat finer, more delicate,
sinuous postmedials. The submarginals are entire, running evenly parallel to the
margins which are conspicuously punctate with black. The ovipositor lobes are
extended, telescopic as in lumenaria.
Geographical range. Sumatra, Borneo, N.E. Himalaya.
Habitat preference. Both Bornean specimens are from G. Kinabalu, but the
altitude is not specified. Sumatran material is all from just above 1000m (Sommerer,
1995).
