15mm. This is a species tending in size towards manca, the
largest Bomean Derambila. The forewing discal spot is black. There are no
antemedial brown markings. The forewing postmedial is gently curved rather than
sinuous, pale brown, that of the hindwing more punctate, the dorsal third
displaced basad to form a conspicuous broad bar with the discal spot. The
submarginals are diffuse, closely associated with the margin which lacks black
dots. The genitalia have a distinctly pad-like setose portion to the uncus,
broader than in manca. The valves are distally quadrate between the apex
and the costal angle. The vesica of the aedeagus is large with two strong
cornuti; such cornuti also occur in manca.
