Diagnosis. See D. saponaria . The wings are relatively slightly marked
as in saponaria, lacking the brownish suffusion of the next two.
Geographical range. Taiwan, Ryukyu Is., India, Sumatra, Borneo,
Philippines, Sulawesi.
Habitat preference. The only Bornean specimen seen is from Sandakan, a
lowland coastal locality.
Biology. Inoue (1971) noted the species as reared from larvae feeding on Vitex
(Verbenaceae) in the Ryukyu Is.
