Agathia cristifera

This species resembles a small A. vicina but the forewing fasciation is much narrower and the black suffusion of the hindwing is intense to the margin except for a narrow, dentate green zone at the margin itself. The male genitalia are similar to those of the species following, but the process from the valve costa is shallow, obtuse.

Geographical range. Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra.

Habitat preference. The species is encountered infrequently in a range of lowland forest types.
