21mm. In facies this species resembles hypocrites but
is a slightly paler green with a larger dorsal white spot and less intensely
reddened wing margins. It differs in the male abdomen. The eighth tergite has
the arms of the terminal Y semicircular, slightly outcurved rather than digitate.
The centre of the sternal margin is cleft rather than with a sclerotised
protrusion. In the genitalia the pair of spinous zones near the juxta are
broader, more robustly scobinate.
Holotype . BRUNEI: 1618m, Bukit Retak, montane
forest, 18.5.1970 (Lt. Col. M.G. Allen) BM geometrid slide 16738.
Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. The species is montane.
