Diagnosis. The fasciae are more conspicuously delineated with darker green
than in members of the tritonaria group. The species is smaller than H.
notospila Prout where this is also a feature.
Geographical range. Borneo, Sumatra, Java, Bali.
Habitat preference. The species was taken infrequently at lowland forest sites during
the Mulu survey, mostly in alluvial forest or forest on limestone.
