13-14mm. The general
appearance and fasciation is as in melancholica or marculenta, but
with the ground colour suffused paler such that the discal markings and basal
green edging to the postmedials is more conspicuous. The male eighth sternite
terminates in a narrow central sclerotised lobe. The genitalia have the ventral
process in a relatively basal position, apically bifid, and there is a weak
semicircular process on the sacculus.
Holotype SARAWAK: Gunung Mulu Nat. Park, R.G.S Exped. 1977-8 (J.D.
Holloway et al.) Site 2, January, Camp 4, Mulu, 1790m, 452463, montane
(moss) forest. BM geometrid slide 10674.
Paratypes. 1 as
holotype; 1 general data as holotype but Site 5, January, Camp
4, Mulu 1780m, 451463, low upper montane forest, BM geometrid slide 10684.
Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. All material is from upper montane forest.
